X4CF RENDEZVOUS RACE

For paddlers, captains, and crew looking for an unforgettable experience, but without the logistics planning and days needed for the 80 mile Bimini Crossing, the Rendezvous Race is a 32 mile adventure taking place the day of The Crossing from the middle of the Gulf Stream to Lake Worth Pier, FL. This race can be done solo or as a relay, all while still getting to be part of the mission to advocate and raise funds to empower CF families.

Event Overview

Participating in the X4CF Rendezvous Race requires careful adherence to safety measures and event protocols. Below are some key rules and guidelines:

  • Safety Requirements: All paddlers must wear a leash, U.S. Coast Guard-approved PFD, and waterproof whistle. Safety meetings are mandatory for all participants.
  • Registration Deadline: April 1st. All participants, including paddlers, captains, and crew, must register by this date.
  • Fundraising Minimums: Paddlers must raise a minimum of $500, while captains and crew are not required to fundraise.
  • Event Start: Paddlers, crew, and captains will travel to the event start GPS location in their boat the morning of the event to arrive by 6:00am
  • Beach Landing: All Rendezvous Race participants, family, and friends are invited to celebrate at the Beach Landing at Lake Worth Beach from 10am-6pm.
  • Paddler Categories & Prizes: Relay and solo categories available for SUP, prone, and sit-down crafts. Trophies will be given to 1st thru 3rd place at the Awards Ceremony on Thursday after the event.
